We want every guest to be able to use this website comfortably.
Our Commitment
Red Maple is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including guests who use assistive technology. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our guide.
What We've Built In
Look for the accessibility icon in the bottom-left corner of every page. It opens a toolbar with:
- Text size controls
- A high-contrast display mode
- An option to underline every link
- A plain, highly legible reading font
- A reduced-motion mode that turns off animation and transitions
These settings are saved in your browser, so they carry over as you move between pages, and the toolbar itself is fully operable by keyboard.
Ongoing Work
We're continuing to review this site for accessibility, including color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility. Some elements outside our direct control, like our Toast waitlist widget and mapping and directions links, follow their own providers' accessibility practices.
